On behalf of The Railway Touring Company "The Royal Duchy" was hauled down from London Paddington to Penzance by Class 47 47500 via Westbury. The return leg went via Bristol Temple Meads and was double-headed by steam locomotives 34067 'TANGMERE' & 70013 'OLIVER CROMWELL'. Here is a collection of photographs I took as the tour passed through the Plymouth area on the outbound & returning legs. Saturday 5th.May 2012. (18 Photos).
