I was on the tour "The Cathedrals Express" which was operated by Steam Dreams Rail Co and hauled by Standard Pacific Britannia Class 7MT 4-6-2 70013 'OLIVER CROMWELL' on Thursday 22nd February 2018. Unfortunately 70013 had lubrication problems just before reaching Norwich and was unable to haul the returning leg. Here is a small collection of photographs I took on what was still a very enjoyable day trip. While there I took the opportunity to travel on the loco-hauled passenger service between Norwich and Lowestoft and back. This service was operated by top and tailed DRS Class 37s. One of the Class 37s was 37407 which was on its first week out on this service after its recent overhaul at Derby. (13 Photos).
