A collection of photographs I took when I visited the "Spring Steam Gala" at the Severn Valley Railway on Saturday 17th March 2018. The weather at times was certainly not spring-like with frequent snow showers and a freezing cold easterly wind. This did not seem to deter the crowds that had turned up to see an excellent line up of visiting and resident steam locomotives. The guest locomotives included the superb GWR 6000 Class 4-6-0 6023 'KING EDWARD II' in its blue livery visiting from the Didcot Railway Centre. Also visiting from the Llangollen Railway in North Wales was Standard Class 4MT 2-6-4T 80072. Some of these photographs were taken through the coach windows of the trains I was on, therefore the quality of them is slightly impaired, but I still thought they were worth including. (22 Photos).
