A trip to the Bodmin & Wenford Railway for their "Heritage Transport Festival" on Saturday 13th June 2015 resulted in this collection of photographs taken during my visit there. One of the highlights for me was the demonstration of timber conversion. This was being done using a large circular rip saw that was driven by a Steam Traction Engine. This was set up in the yard area at Bodmin General Station and the sound of the saw cutting the wood and the smell given off by the sawdust brought back fond memories of when I was a teenager working in Hyde End Saw Mills in Buckinghamshire back in the late Sixties.
